They are on assignment for a sports magazine, and hope to find the American Dream. Instead of getting a story and finding that dream, they stumble along in a drug haze causing mischeif every where they go.
This was a really weird book. I have heard of it before but never desired to read it. It was on the Rory Gilmore reading challenge list AND available from the library so thta is how we got here. Have you ever read a book that made you feel like you needed a shower after reading it? This was one of those books for me. There is so much talk of drugs and partying. The story was random. The book is very short, so I cannot say I even got where it was going.
I might check out the movie to see if it pulls it together for me any more.
